The concerns of the Deacon Body shall be the spiritual and general welfare of the congregation and a ministry of service and evangelism to those outside the congregation, as well as:

1. provide a ministry of caring for the sick and those with special needs within the congregation
2. organize and carry out programs of visitation and evangelism
3. maintain a complete record of Church Membership and review it at least every three years
4. insure proper counseling on Church membership for new or prospective members
5. oversee the general physical arrangements for observing the Ordinances of the Church
6. engage in such other activities as promote its special concerns such as the tape ministry and holiday baskets
